Project a Leadership image to….
Having a Leadership image is an important attribute, but if the right people don’t see it, it won’t do any good. Leaders are needed now and there are a few people, that can make a difference, if they can find a leader they can trust and have confidence in. Perhaps a lot of American’s have been lulled into a ” I don’t care attitude”, or ” let someone else take care of our problems attitude”. These people don’t want to recognize a leader and chances are they won’t follow one.
The following are a few attributes of a leader:
- a positive mental attitude
- looks, acts and dresses as a leader
- thinks before speaking
- is courteous
- has a message to convey
- is a person of action
The last part is to put yourself in a position so you can show your leadership qualities: Few thoughts on this:
- Become a active in your work group
- Join civic organizations and participate
- Volunteer with a non-profit organization
- Take an active role in your City and State government
You may be starting at the bottom but if you carry your leadership attributes with you, you will make a difference, and reach the right people.
