A one person company or a 100 person company, without a Strategic Focus Plan your chances of success are slim. My specially designed planning process is a one day process which starts at 8 am and finishes at 5pm. Lunch is a working lunch, during the process. This is a facilitated process in which the participants are guided to examine their business in the following area, by answering the following questions:
- How did you get to this Point?
- Where do you want to go?
- How will you get there?
- How can you make it work?
Within this structure we develop a mission statement, look at strengths and weaknesses; examine internal and external issues that may affect your business; set goals; determine objectives; look at opportunities; examine resources; evaluate and prioritize action plans; develop a mini-business plan for the top three action plans.
It’s an exhausting day; within two days after the planning session you will receive a hard copy of the focus plan that you and your leadership team developed. Accountability sessions are then scheduled every month for the first six months then every other month for the next six months. The plan is updated in a half day session ( longer if needed) every year and accountability sessions are scheduled every quarter.
The cost of the initial planning session is $1500 (perhaps the best and most important investment you can make in your business). Accountability sessions are priced according to work and support that I have to provide.
The good news is, you increase your chances of success, you will have access to a mentor ( by phone or skype)at no cost in between accountability sessions. The cost of the program is small in comparison to the potential rewards.
Business success is a choice; going it alone, thinking that you can do everything alone, will minimize your chances for success.
