A status check:
- For those of you that are in retail and are telling me that you have no records of customers, please follow one of these suggestions: Offer a weekly or monthly drawing in your shop, ask for names and e-mail addresses when they enter the contest. Create a discount card offering , for example, a 5% discount on all purchases when the card is presented. Again, get name and e-mail address. Ask permission on your entry form to send a monthly newsletter with specials and happenings at your store.
- Please continue working on gathering your # 1, & # 2 client lists for those of you that are in the service business.
- Time to create a monthly newsletter for your firm. Please look at www.constantcontact.com. There may be other services that offer a newsletter format. Your assignment is to select one and learn how it functions. We will talk about the writing process soon.
- Please continue your meeting with your 30 selected contacts. If you have not done so, finish booking your daily meetings.
Organize your day to accomplish this process. There is no such thing as being to busy..
