Yes, I still believe that person to person, and in person, is the most effective marketing possible;however, we must still support it with the new technology. I am, perhaps, one of the least technical people in the business world. I admit it is a struggle to keep up with my 5 year old grandson not to mention the new sites and tools that appear each and every day. Given that fact, I realize that I must learn and use the new technology to keep up with my client base.
Let’s look at some of the new tools that we should be using. My first major venture was to sign up for SKYPE; at first it was a fun “toy” to talk to a few friends, but if you look at my home page, www.blogtalkradio.com Here you can set up your own radio program and share whatever message you wish and also direct your clients, as well as anyone else who may want to listen, to new happenings in your business.
Most of these marketing tools are connected to the social media which can further help you get your name out. I only mention a few of the available marketing tools now available It may not be easy to learn and use all these tools, but with the I-pad and smart phones, our current and future clients will be relying more and more on high tech to decide who to meet with face to face and purchase a product or service.
What we think determines what happens to us, so if we want to change our lives, we need to stretch our minds.
