We will be looking at two short subjects today.
What’s in a Name?
Frequently business start ups have a difficult time selecting a name for the new venture. Consider the use of your own name as the business name or at least incorporating your name as part of the total name.
Many marketing efforts will be directed towards creating name recognition for the business. By using your name as the business name, or at least part of the business name, you are also promoting yourself. Most clients/customers like to deal with an owner whenever possible. It’s just as easy to “Brand” your name as any other with, perhaps, better results.
Play it again!
Have you ever heard a song that really caught your attention, a song that you looked forward to hearing again? The more you hear it, the more it grows on you until you finally download the song or buy the CD.
Your business message is like that song, it may have to heard many times before a client/customer comes to you.
The message is, don’t change your “tune” every week; consistency is important. Give your message time to mature and grow in your clients/customers, minds.
Men, as well as women, are much oftener led by their hearts than by their understandings.
