Business to Business Marketing

Want to share a little on the personal side today as I was asked what I do to market my services.

This week I have the following meetings for my marketing:

  1. Thursday (Jan 12)  I will have a booth at the annual Arizona Small Business Association (ASBA) meeting. It will be held at the Sheraton Crescent Hotel located at 2620 W. Dunlap in Phoenix. For those of you that are in the Metro Phoenix Area I encourage you to attend and please stop by my booth. (Strategic Duck). It will be open to the public between 10 and noon, and you can network with the exhibitors and members. And yes, I will be handing out yellow rubber ducksJ. I have one other business expo booth scheduled for the weekend of Jan. 20th.
  2. My other function was to attend a BNI luncheon today. BNI is a professional organization that allows only one person per profession in each chapter. This was my first meeting at a BNI gathering and I was pleasantly surprised at the enthusiasm the members had and how well the meeting was organized to maximize the referrals and thank you’s among  the members. From this initial attendance, this is a group that I recommend you look into. Guests are welcome and they have chapters. Next week, I will concentrate on meeting with at least two people for the purpose of discussing how we can work together to help grow our individual businesses.

Sales and Marketing is one of the legs on the tripod that holds up your business. If the leg is cut off, your business will fail.

Pretend that every single person you meet has a sign around his or her neck that says, “ Make me feel important.” Not only will you succeed in sales, you will succeed in life.
